3 Communication Tips

Three ways to improve your communication on the pickleball court and off the pickleball court when you play with your honey. Number one, start communicating. Non communication is a form of communication, just not a good one. So start communicating, start somewhere. Number two, stay in your own lane. So when we call yours, yours, get it, run, we're telling our partner, we're not really staying in our own lane.

So actually calling mine for the ball, mine, and your partner doing the same means you're taking ownership and you are using your words in your communicating. So practice on focusing on calling the ball mine instead of yours. Number three, verbal and nonverbal communication. So, use your words but also tether together.

Stay together. Move together on the court. If they go up, you go up. If they go back, you go back. They go left, you go left. Staying together and tethering on the court is a great way a strategy for winning more points but also a good communication strategy cuz you are a team and it's you and your partner versus your opponents, the net and the ball and not each other.
